Our planning starts with the children, materials, room and activity boundaries—not simply the visual reaction.
Defined capacity
Published limits protect meaningful participation and instructor control. Larger attendance requires rotations or a different plan.
Known activity space
Tables, movement zones, sink access and host responsibilities are confirmed before delivery.
Clear material rules
Science materials and take-home creations are not food. Handling and discard guidance is provided when relevant.
Before confirmation
Information we need from the host.
- Actual participant ages and expected count
- Relevant allergies, sensitivities and accommodations
- Room type, table setup and water access
- Venue restrictions and campus requirements
- The responsible adult or site contact present
During the program
How participation is managed.
- The instructor explains boundaries before materials are distributed
- Children participate through a structured sequence
- Hosts remain responsible for general supervision and behavior support
- Spills or activity residue are handled as part of activity cleanup
- Any incident is documented and communicated to the responsible host
Important boundary
“Safe” does not mean “zero information required.”
A program can only be planned responsibly when the host shares relevant needs and venue restrictions before confirmation. If the group, room or requirements change, the delivery plan may also need to change.
